Repair Cafe

Our latest Repair Café, in the Melland Room on 6 Sept 2026, was a great

success. Many enjoyed chatting while eating scones and flapjacks.


Meanwhile, our volunteers restored life to electrical goods and clothes.

In the Blewshed, workers were very busy. An unusual activity was that a new

tine was made on a lathe for a large wooden rake. Knife sharpeners worked

on several pairs of shears and secateurs.


Plenty of items were saved from landfill and a good time was had by all.
