About the event

We are holding our last volunteering session next Sat 27 April, before closing the Nature reserve for three months while the migratory birds are nesting. (The exceptions to the closure will be three bird-watching walks, guided by Martin Latham, on 11 May, 18 May and 8 June). Next Sat, we need to work on nettle bashing around the hedging plants and maintenance of the bark path. We also need to strim the Dinosaur area. The session will run from 1000 until noon but please could the strimmers start soon after 9am so that the noise levels are reduced for the other volunteers. Please remember to bring a drink, your own protective gloves, and any tools that you think will be useful.

I have recently reviewed our Health and Safety Risk Assessment. Please make sure you are familiar with this (particularly section 6) for your own safety and for the safety of others, and if you think I need to add anything else, please let me know.
